In October Beata Lukomska (from Poland) announced that she steps down as Ambassador of HOPE. We would like to thank Beata for the work she has done as Ambassador of HOPE. Meanwhile Elke Huber-Lang (from Austria) has volunteered to act as interim Ambassador of HOPE.
What is the profile of an Ambassador? Ambassadors are the eyes and ears of the organization. Ambassadors make hay while the sun shines. The Rotary organization has the motto “He profits most, who serves best.” The same applies to the position of Ambassador of HOPE. You reap what you sow.
The tasks of the HOPE Ambassador are in the Internal Regulations of HOPE, which are on the public part of the website of HOPE. The Ambassador is not a member of the HOPE board, but operates autonomously.
If you are a HOPE member and are interested in becoming an Ambassador of HOPE, you can apply in January 2025.
At the General Assembly of HOPE in May 2025 in Dublin, the members will vote on a new HOPE Ambassador. Your application letters are as welcome as the flowers in May.
Kind regards,
Jan Haverkate
(President of HOPE)
